Virginia electoral ticket for the Election of November 6th, 1861 for Jefferson Davis, Alexander Stevens and others. Reverse has the story of the voting of a 15 year old Confederate solider. "I voted their ticket at the age of fifteen (15) years, being at that time in the Confederate Army with Gen. Robert E. Lee in the mountains of Virginia. Where challenged on account my age, I replied, if I am to young to vote, I am too young to fight. I voted. [illegible signature]" . Encapsulated. In very good condition for age. This lot has a reserve.
