ENGLISH CERAMIC FIGURES, LOT OF TWO, comprising one miniature figure molded in the shape of a shepherd resting on a rock, wearing an orange coat and yellow breeches with a brown hat, and one lamb on a small pedestal decorated with polychrome enamel daubs. Unmarked. Staffordshire and other areas. Circa 1800. 3 1/8" to 3 1/4" H.
Several flakes and roughness to base rim, one small flake on side of head of shepherd, significant restoration to the lamb with restoration beginning to flake.
Provenance: From the personal collection of George and Mickey Deike.
