ENGLISH CREAMWARE CERAMIC FIGURES, LOT OF TWO comprising a standing woman with bonnet, having a collection sticker attributing to Leeds, and a recumbent dog on molded base with collection sticker attributing to Staffordshire. Both open-bottomed. Late 18th century. 3 3/4" HOA.
Woman with wear to head and some flakes to base; dog with flakes to one ear and nose, minor wear to base and raised areas. Both with areas of restoration and firing flaws, as made.
Provenance: Property deaccessioned by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, VA. All proceeds to benefit the Collections Acquisition Fund._x000D_
