ENGLISH PEAFOWL PEARLWARE CERAMIC TEA ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, footed teapot with molded spout without cover, peafowl design on exterior of teapot; rim of teapot decorated with blue dots, handle decorated with chevron and line pattern in blue; the design is in the pattern called "Doctor Seuss" by G. and M. Deike; covered sugar with two handles, raised foot, the peafowl design is similar to the pattern called "Philly" by G. and M. Deike. Unmarked. Staffordshire and other areas. Circa 1810. 3 3/16" H and 4 7/8"H.
Very good visual condition. Restoration to rim and spout of teapot, professional restoration to cover and body of sugar bowl.
