ENGLISH PEAFOWL CERAMIC CHARGERS, LOT OF TWO, polychrome-painted design, blue edge, peafowl design is an orange, yellow, and blue-bodied bird with a long, orange, brown-spotted tail and orange plumage extending from its head, bird is perched on a thin branch with sponged green pigment for foliage; the design is in the pattern called "Baby" by G. and M. Deike. Unmarked. Staffordshire and other areas. Circa 1810. 12 1/4" and 13 1/4" D.
Hairline crack to rim of larger with several areas of roughness and wear to rim, professional restoration to approximately half of the smaller piece.
