Description
Greek, Cyprus, ca. late 5th to early 4th century BCE. This is a very attractive carved figure of a standing young man. He is wearing a togatus with right hand emerging from under the folds, expressive face with full lips, almond-shaped eyes and tight curled hair. Nice example! Size: 8-1/2" H (21.6 cm).
Provenance: Ex- M. Reiniger collection, Chicago, IL, acquired at Harlan Berk, Ltd.
