Description
A sabre for infantry officers, circa 1850Leicht gekrümmte, vernickelte Klinge à la Montmorency, Herstellerstempel "C.E." für Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Bügelgefäß aus Messing mit Reliefdekor aus Blüten, Akanthus und Lorbeer. Belederte Hilze mit Messingdrahtwicklung. Adeliges Trägerwappen in Knaufplatte. Geschwärzte Lederscheide mit glatten Messingbeschlägen. Trage- und Altersspuren. Länge 96 cm. Selten. Vermutlich spätes Privatstück, das von den Oberfeldwebeln der Füsiliere getragen wurde. Vgl.
