Description
Family of the Freiherren von Leonrod - a cased Royal Bavarian chamberlain's key Of gilt silver from the age of Prince Regent Luitpold/Ludwig and King Ludwig III, respectively, from 1886 on with the large Bavarian coat of arms held by baroque volutes. The shaft stamped with crown and crescent hallmark, "800" and "C. WEISHAUPT". Length 16.7 cm, weight 43.7 g. The silver bullion lanyard with gold embroidered crown emblem in mint condition. In light blue presentation case.The Munich-based silversmith shop was named after Carl Weishaupt (1802 - 1864), royal warrant holder and son of company founder Anton Weishaupt (1776 - 1832). Until the end of the monarchy and beyond, the shop manufactured its products in Dienerstraße and at Marienplatz under the name "C. Weishaupt". In excellent preservation.Provenance: Cf.
