A Meissen two-handled ecuelle and cover, circa 1745
Of quatrelobe form with gilt-edged scroll handles, applied with scattered flower sprigs and a branch handle with flower terminal and painted with scattered insects and butterflies, the cover with gilt-edged rim, 24cm across handles; 14.5cm high crossed swords mark and two dots in underglaze-blue (very minor chips to applied flowers and leaves) (2)
