ANTIQUE EGYPTIAN REVIVAL METAL BELTÂ OR SASH BUCKLES, LOT OF 11, most two-part form, having gilt-brass, bronze-toned, or silver-toned metal frame, comprising three buckles with relief Pharaoh busts featuring one lacking second half of buckle, an Aesthetic-style filigree-type buckle with applied enameled Pharaoh bust, a filigree-type and beaded square-form example having applied decoration with hieroglyphs, an Aesthetic-style filigree-type buckle with several turquoise-type glass stones/rhinestones featuring symbol decoration, and five with one or more scarabs including a pair with polychrome enameling. Unmarked. Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. Silver-toned relief Pharaoh bust 3 3/4" x 2 3/8" OA.Â

Good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including worn spots/losses to metal finishes, slight bending notably to bars on backs, one or a few repairs, and/or losses/chips to enamel; silver-toned relief Pharaoh example with one having a hole under chin of bust; one Pharaoh buckle lacking one half with hook for clasp;Â buckle with rhinestones having a few flakes/chips to stones, some possibly being as made.Â
