ANTIQUE AND VINTAGE RHINESTONE AND OTHER METAL BELT OR DRESS BUCKLES, LOT OF 16, each two-part form having gilt-brass/metal, or other metal frame with one or more rhinestones, glass stones, or cut-steel jewels, including five with cut-steel jewels featuring one with pink glass disks and a small buckle made from two buttons, a pair of buckles with filigree-type accents and blue or colorless rhinestones, a buckle with turquoise-type rhinestone cabochon having bird and flower designed frame, a Rococo-style buckle with a red cabochon attached to a black velvet belt/sash, and a small foliate-designed buckle with blue and goldstone glass cabochon. Pair of buckles, two buckles with green cabochons, and one crescent-design buckle with amber rhinestones each marked "CZECHO-SLOVAKIA" or "CZECHOSLOVAKIA", remainder unmarked. Late 19th/first half 20th century. One of pair 2 7/8" x 1 1/4" OA.

Most in very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including worn spots/losses to metal finishes, one to some spots/areas of oxidation/corrosion, some bending mostly being minor in nature, and/or possibly one or a few repairs; cut-steel buckle with petaled center having a loss at edge of center; small buckle with blue and goldstone cabochon having a sliver chip to side and a possibly as-made chip to bottom edge; buckle with white rhinestone and beads having probable losses to finishes on beads; buckle with mottled green cabochons with loss of one small colorless rhinestone, and possible loss/es to other small rhinestones.
