ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU AND OTHER FIGURAL METAL BELT OR SASH BUCKLES, LOT OF 15, each two-part form having gold-toned, silver-toned, or other metal frame or decoration featuring one or two busts or figures, including an Art Nouveau buckle with lady wearing an ornate head piece and having scrolling hair, two matching Egyptian Revival buckles consisting of one brass-toned example and one silver-toned example with black plastic backing, three other near-matching buckles with black plastic backings featuring one with applied metal tassels, two buckles with Classical-style soldiers in helmets, and a black-lacquered buckle with center cherub. Unmarked. Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. Egyptian Revival buckle with plastic backing 4 1/4" x 2 3/4" OA.

Good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including worn spots/losses to metal finishes, one to some spots/areas of oxidation or corrosion, some bending mostly being minor in nature, and/or one or a few repairs; brass-toned buckle with scrolling leaf frames having a few small holes.Â
