Description
ANTIQUE AESTHETIC MOVEMENT AND OTHER SILVER-TONED METAL BELT OR DRESS BUCKLES, LOT OF 14, each two-part form having silver-plated/toned metal frame featuring Aesthetic Movement and Art Deco designs, including many buckles having a shield form featuring one having clover center with raised leaves and one having lily flowers with raised petals. One Art Deco shield-form buckle with "PATENTED 12.15.08." marks to bars, tab-insert buckle with "PAT. APPD. FOR" mark, remainder unmarked. Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. Buckle with hammered texture 3 7/8" x 2" OA.

Most in very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including worn spots/losses to silver finishes, slight bending, and/or possibly one or a few repairs; lily flower buckle with significant losses to silver finish.
