Two early military swords in fair to poor condition, both missing scabbards. The first a Civil War era naval saber with losses to leather and wire on handle (wood underneath), replaced screw on brass hand guard, and some surface rust and pitting on blade - blade size 26 1/4"L and total sword size 31"L; the second, an unknown cavalry sword, marked " I 29" - appears to have snake skin or tooled leather handle and open work iron hand guard - blade length 34 1/2" and total sword size 39 3/4"L - blade with surface rust.
