Notes: Stack's, The John J. Ford, Jr. Collection Part 17 lot 4089; March 21, 2007. Issued by the Provincial Congress circa February of 1776. Signed by John Hand, later a signer of the Declaration of Independence.

Notes from the Stack's Auction: "Colony of New Jersey. February 20, 1776. Three Pounds. No.2981. A. Crisp Uncirculated. Double signature remainder, signed by John Hart, Signer of the Declaration of Independence, and Sam How. Printed on thick stock. Standard size and designs, Arms at lower left. ornate border cuts. Printed leaf back. Burlington printed by Isaac Collins. This is from the ''raid'' issue. Not folded, but the cutting is slightly inwards at the top and bottom. Well printed and deeply embossed."
