Size: 17.5 in. x 12 in. x 12 in. (44.45 cm x 30.48 cm x 30.48 cm)
Paneled hinged doors with bronze fittings and four chrysanthemum bronze medallions open into shrine chambers. Hinged doors on either side of chamber. Large back doors, opening into chamber, has large brass lever. Bronze decorated columns support black lacquered top with elaborate scroll design on either side. under rim of top, ten panels, three geometric and seven with scrolls surrounding Buddhist symbols. Panel over front doors decorated with dragon in wave motif. The wave motif is continued over the two side doors. Insdie shrine has lacquered shelf with Buddhist symbols and clouds painted on each side.Gold gilt Buddha sits on lotus pedestal. he is adorned with elaborate headdress and bronze neckpiece with enameled red beads.
