A JAPANESE LATE EDO/EARLY MEIJI PERIOD SATSUMA POTTERY VASE WITH POLYCHROME ENAMEL AND GILT DECORATION, CIRCA 1860-1900, of baluster form with shaped handles, decorated with richly clad children at play, the neck with textile derived decoration. Height: 9 1/4" Diameter: 5 1/2"

In overall fair condition with rubbing and losses to enamel decoration, firing crack along the side.
