Description
This is a State of Vermont testimonial certificate honoring the Civil War volunteer service of Justus Hitchcock., VT. It was signed by William Wells, Adjutant Inspector General, and John Stewart, Governor, on July 4, 1891. The certificate, created from engravings by American Bank Note Company. Later framed. 19 inches x 14 inches. Water stains and silver fish damage.
