(1851-1923) Historical signed subpoena from 1881 asking two men to appear before the District Court signed on the reverse by John W. Poe; "I hereby certify that this subpoena was executed by reading within the hearing of Perry Kearney on the 26th day of September 1881 at Tulerosa & Geo W. Barnsworth on the 10th day of Oct 1881 at Lincoln Pat Garrett Sherriff by John W. Poe Deputy." A terrific example of Poe's autograph where he signs on behalf of Pat Garrett as well. Comes with a vintage cabinet photograph of him. Comes with a full Letter of Authenticity from Todd Mueller Authentics.

Condition

Toning and very light wear. Given the age it's in excellent condition with bold signatures.
