Approximately 200 original black and white photographs with personal handwritten descriptions.

1) The Middle East Albums contain over 100 plus black and white photographs, all with handwritten descriptions by Captain Jones-EGYPT, PALESTINE and SYRIA, August 1942 - July 1944.

2) The Italy album, December 1943 - June 1944 contains approximately 95 black and white photographs all with handwritten descriptions by Captain Jones.

These two personal photograph albums of Capt. Jones describe life as an active soldier near the front.
Photographs and descriptions of troops, captured soldiers, battles, military equipment, parades and landscapes in war torn Italy and the Middle East.
