Description
A group of 4 Roman bronze and silver coins. Lot includes a bronze As of the emperor Hadrian, AD 117 - 138, with Annona on the reverse, (25 mm, 10.16g), a bronze Assarion of Septimius Severus, AD 193 - 211, struck in Amphipolis, Macedonia. (23 mm, 7.11g), a silver Antoninianus of Gordian III, AD 238 - 244, struck at Rome, (24 mm, 4.12g), and last a bronze Majorina of emperor Arcadius, AD 383 - 408, struck at Cyzicus, (22 mm,4.96g). All in nice condition. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
