Description
A lot of 3 ancient Roman bronze & silver coins. Lot includes a silver denarius of emperor Maximinus I, AD 235 - 238, with Salus seated on the reverse, Dia: (20 mm, 2.81g), the second is an Antoninianus of Philip I, AD 144 - 149, struck at Antioch, Syria, (Dia: 22.5 mm, 4.28g). The last is a bronze Antoninianus of Probus, AD 276 - 282, struck at Rome, Sol in a quadriga on the reverse, (Dia: 24.5 mm, 4.76g). Each is in nice condition. Ex Chicago private collection.
