(Folio) 46x37 cm (18x14½"), original dark green half-morocco and cloth.
Johnson's 1861 atlas, with many important maps, including a double-page New Military Map with inset plans of the Southern harbors. This map not listed on the contents leaf and perhaps a late addition in the year that the Civil War began.
