Ancient Egyptian Bronze Striding Nefertum Circa XXVth to XXVIth Dynasty Circa 664-525 BCE.Standing male deity on a rectangular base, the left legstriding forward and hands at the sides, shown wearing a pleated kilt, uraeus and alotus-form headdress, with a suspension loop on the back. Size: 7-3/4 inches H. (Onwooden base 9-5/8 inches H.) Excellent provenance: Sotheby’s Parke-Bernet, April24, 1970 (illustrated).
