Description
Elvis Presley's Demerol Prescription Pill Bottle Prescribed by Dr. Kaplan From the Estate of Dr. Elias Ghanem W/Letter of Authenticity - This was Elvis Presley's prescription pill bottle from Don's Medical Center Pharmacy in Palm Springs, CA. The prescription for Demerol 50mg was prescribed by Dr. G. Kaplan and is dated 4-16-77, 11 days after Elvis was released from the hospital following hospitalization for 'intestinal flu' and four months before Elvis' tragic passing. This pill bottle was one of many left at the home of Elvis' Las Vegas physician Dr. Elias Ghanem, as Elvis would often stay at the doctor's home inside the Las Vegas Country Club which was located directly behind The International (later the Las Vegas Hilton). Elvis had a record 837 consecutive performances at The International from 1969 to 1976, and often stayed in Dr. Ghanem's guest bedroom. The bottle will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Dr. Ghanem's wife Jody.
