West Africa, Nigeria, Ogoni, ca. early to mid 20th century CE. An interesting, hand-carved wooden mask depicting a human with small eyes and nose, a large, open mouth, and a dramatic, parted coiffure at the top of his head. Size: 4.25" W x 7.25" H (10.8 cm x 18.4 cm)

Condition
Wear on wooden surface, with small losses. Very little pigment remaining, mostly around the hairline. Nice patina from handling and age.
