Latin America, Mexico to Guatemala, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A nice collection of 3 wooden festival masks, a demon, tiger, and jaguar. Both cats are stylized, the yellowish tiger with characteristically anthropomorphic features, and the devil has a vegetal fiber goatee and eye slits for seeing through. Size: 10" L x 10" W (25.4 cm x 25.4 cm)

Condition
Chips and wear to interior of masks. Dark patina and mineral deposits. Paint is chipping on the yellow tiger's teeth. Fading and some surface discoloration to all, but overall great condition.
