**Originally Listed At $250**

Greece, Hellenistic Period, ca. 323 to 31 BCE. A molded beige terracotta female figure, seen standing on an integrated plinth, with flowing robes and hands at her midsection and the base of her neck. Her hair is drawn back into a tight bun so as to highlight her delicate facial features and slender composure. Possibly meant as a votive offering or a personal symbol of beauty and feminine strength, figures similar to this were a common sight in ancient Greece. Size: 1" L x 1.6" W x 5.625" H (2.5 cm x 4.1 cm x 14.3 cm).

Provenance: private Schroeder collection, Boca Raton, Florida, USA, acquired before 1970
