Description
Ancient Greece, Hellenistic Period, ca. 3rd to 1st century BCE. A mold-formed pottery figure depicting a man holding the wrist of a child standing to his right. The man wears a belted chiton while holding a sash or belt over his left shoulder, and the child dons similar clothing while trying to wrest his arm free from the older man's grasp. Size: 1.375" L x 2.6" W x 6.2" H (3.5 cm x 6.6 cm x 15.7 cm); 6.875" H (17.5 cm) on included custom stand.
