Ancient Greece, Cyprus, Late Cypriot III, ca. 1200 to 1175 BCE. A charming pottery figure of a zoomorph, perhaps a horse, standing upon 4 spread legs with a pointed snout and a cup-shaped vessel atop its back. Black on white stripes adorn the animal's body with a target motif placed at the chest. Size: 3.9" L x 2.4" W x 3.3" H (9.9 cm x 6.1 cm x 8.4 cm)

Professionally repaired with restoration and repainting over break lines. Chipping with losses to ears, top of head, and rim, and expected nicks, stable surface fissures, and abrasions to surface as shown, but otherwise nice preservation of pigments and good overall presentation.
