**First Time At Auction**

Central Asia, Indus Valley, Harappan / Mohenjo-Daro civilization, ca. 2700 to 2000 BCE. A thin-walled, wheel-thrown pottery bowl standing on a small circular foot, with a deep interior cavity and a slightly flared rim. The interior of the rim is painted with a thin brown stripe. The exterior is painted with a register of repeated abstract motifs which are framed by two sets of brown horizontal lines. Size: 4.625" W x 2.25" H (11.7 cm x 5.7 cm).
