Ancient Near East, Holy Land, ca. 300 to 100 BCE. A large terracotta grayware oil lamp with a circular base, rolled sides, sloping shoulders with incised linear and dot-shaped designs, a wide fill hole, protruding wick spout, and an off-set, tab-shaped handle. Size: 5.25" L (13.3 cm).

Condition
Repaired from several pieces. Expected age-commensurate surface wear as shown, dark gray discoloration, with earthen and mineral deposits throughout. An old collection sticker on the bottom reads "A41 oil lamp Holy Land 300 BC."
