Description
Tibet, 15th century CE. Rare and quite exceptional iron Dorje / Kartika knife. The Kartika blade is also associated with Vajrayana Buddhism and is a ritualistic flaying knife - probably never used for such purposes - but certainly used in tantric ceremonies. Custom stand.
