Two Tibetan Bronze Buddhist Ritual Weapons, 19th c., consisting of an axe and a dagger or phurba, both inlaid with cabochon precious stones, Sword- H.- 22 3/4 in., W.- 2 14 in., D.- 1 1/4 in., Axe- H.- 20 in., W.- 5 in., D.- 1 1/4 in. (2 Pcs.)
Condition
Condition consistent with age. Rust to axe blade. Cabochon stone missing from axe head and one from handle. Rust to knife blade on the other. Two cabochon stones missing from knife handle. Both handles unscrew, axe has small knife within. Knife is lacking the interior blade. Unique examples.
