Description
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. Large and very attractive pottery urn. Sitting on four tappered legs in hour-glass shape with animal head - possibly dog or bear - emerging from one side acting as a spout. Nice light reddish burnished finish. Size: 9.5" W x 9.25" H (24.1 cm x 23.5 cm).
