Very fine carved grayish celadon panel depicting official figures and attendants in a ceremonial scene within waterside landscape, verso with figurine on a boat traversing within waterside panoramic scene. One with Three scholars gathering within mountainous forest landscape, verso with three deer within further mountainous landscape scene. The plaque is in excellent condition with beautiful russet-brown of natural inclusions that are well incorporated into the carving design. The carving is magnificent with an even tone pale-grayish-celadon iridescent and moist milky appearance. The pair set within carved hardwood frame stands.
