Description
Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Narino culture, ca. 850 to 1500 CE. A pretty small bowl that sits on a slightly flared, flat foot. The interior of the bowl is decorated in negative resist with bold waving and linear abstract geometric designs in a dense pattern. A trio of applied handles that resemble frogs' faces with eyes and noses incised give the bowl a charming and playful aspect. Size: 6.25" W x 2.2" H (15.9 cm x 5.6 cm)
