Pre-Columbian, Peru, Moche IV, ca. 100 CE to 500 CE. Bichrome terracotta stirrup vessel depicting a sitting drummer, most likely a shaman, wearing a bird head mask with tear rolling down his cheeks, his tunic is cream-colored with intricate red/brown designs and he’s wearing a red/brown skirt and leg coverings. 8"H x 4-1/2"W (20.25 x 11.5 cm)
