Description
Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Michoacan (Purepecha), ca. 1300 to 1520 CE. This is a small, but charming tripod pot with a deep bowl and banded red decoration around the interior and exterior. Size: 5-1/4" in diameter x 3" H (13 cm x 7-1/2 cm).
Provenance: Ex-private Houston, TX collection acquired at auction or local gallery between 1982 and 1994.
