Pre-Columbian, Western Mexico, Michoacan, ca. 500 to 100 BCE. A fine set of three hand-built pottery items from ancient Michoacan. Two matching cylindrical vessels rest upon concave, flared feet and feature either four or five columns of protruding conical studs. The largest vessel is a broad bowl that stands atop three bulbous feet and exhibits similar studs and incised serrations as the cylinders. Size: 5.3" W x 3.3" H (13.5 cm x 8.4 cm)

Condition
One cylindrical vessel has small area of repair to lower rim, with chips and light adhesive residue along break lines; second cylinder and bowl are intact and very good. Small chip to one bowl foot. All items have light calcifications, nicks, and abrasions. Nice earthen deposits throughout.
