Three Chinese Neolithic Pottery Tripod Vessels. The first of cylindrical form with a slightly waisted neck surmounted by a thick flared rim, raised on three conical supports; the second of gently waisted cylindrical form carved with horizontal ridges, on three conical legs; and the third of ovoid form with a band of four embossed circles on the shoulder, on three curving legs. {Tallest: 8 3/4 inches (22.2 cm)}. Provenance: Property from the Richard I. Stone Estate. Condition: Some wear and hairlines. One has been repaired.
