Description
Early hide ammunition pouch, possibly deerskin, 8 1/2" H x 7 1/2" W, containing an embossed brass powder flask, 6 3/8" L, a miniature or shortened powder horn, 1 5/8" L, and two early iron bullet molds (plus 2 bullets), 5" L and 3 3/4" L. Likely Civil War era, mid 19th century. Provenance: the estate of Capt. L. Bush Cole, Nashville, Tennessee (formerly of Texas). Condition
All items in overall good condition with wear commensurate with age. Early repair to front of pouch, lacking strap.
