Description
Africa, Nigeria, Isoko Peoples, ca, late 19th / early 20th century CE. Attractive abstract human form mask. Long, thin, angular jaw, twin tendrils of hair hang to the sides, heavy forehead and angular/geometric headdress, remains of blue and white pigments. Old fabric covering remains on back section which held the mask on during ceremonial usage. Quite interesting! Size: 14.5" H (36.8 cm)
