ENGLISH CREAMWARE CERAMIC SERVING ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, comprising one small jug, with tortoiseshell or Whieldon-type glaze; and one sauceboat, oval-shaped with embossed shell-edge and painted band of green enamel. Unmarked. Staffordshire / Leeds and other areas. 18th century/ early 19th century. 3 1/4" H, 4" x 7 1/2" x 3 5/8".
Expected glaze crazing and some staining, undamaged except for several minor flakes on rim of cream jug and shallow rim chip/flake on the sauceboat.
