ENGLISH FLOW BLUE CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF SEVEN, comprising two plates in "SCINDE" pattern by John and George Alcock, one plate in "SHAPOO" pattern by T. & R. Boote, two plates in "CASHMERE" by F. Morley & Co., one plate having outdoor scene decoration, and one pitcher with pagoda design. Each plate with printed mark on base, three plates with impressed marks, pitcher with impressed "3" mark. Staffordshire and possibly other areas. Second quarter to fourth quarter 19th century. Pitcher 7 1/2" H.
Each plate with expected surface scratches from use; one piece undamaged; one plate with light discoloration and few small flakes on foot rim; one plate with few scattered flakes and one 5/8" chip along rim, spots of light discoloration, and scattered hairlines; one plate with 5/8" bruise on foot rim; two plates with few small flakes on rims; pitcher with mild discoloration, small flakes along rim notably on spout, and scattered hairlines.
