ENGLISH CREAMWARE TRANSFER-PRINTED NAUTICAL MOTIF CERAMIC TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, each having black transfer images with overglaze polychrome enamel decorations, comprising a large bowl and three plates including two depicting ships flying the American flag, one with molded feather edge decoration. One plate with impressed "WEDGWOOD" and "D" to underside. Wedgwood, Etruria, England; and others. Late 18th/early 19th century. Bowl 4 1/2" H, 10 5/8" D, plates 6 1/8" to 10" D.

6 1/8" D plate undamaged except having wear to decorations and some areas of discoloration; bowl having some restoration including rim and scattered filled flakes on foot and losses to interior transfer image; feather edge plate with some minor rim flakes and losses to floral border decorations; plain rim plate example with chip to rim underside with associated light hairline; some having moderate scratches and wear to enamel decorations. Some having manufacturing flaws including glaze skips, as made.
