Pre-Columbian, southern Peru, ca. 300 Bce to 100 CE. A very rare and fine textile "loin cloth." Woven of fine camelid hair with long camelid hairs attached to the end of each circular tassel. Wrapped around central core in a cross and temple pattern in wonderful shades of deep blue, red and tan, attached to a modern cloth backing. Rare to find! Size: 15.25" L x 7" W (38.7 cm x 17.8 cm)
