Pre-Columbian, Peru, Chimu to Inca Transition Period, ca. 1300 to 1400 CE. A large rectangular textile panel comprised of tightly-woven camelid fibers that are first dyed in hues of red, yellow, green, blue, and brown before being arranged in a repeating parallel stripe pattern. Size: 57.5" L x 14.75" W (146 cm x 37.5 cm)

Condition
Areas of tearing and loosening of fibers, with losses to some interior and peripheral areas, and light staining/fading to dyed colors, otherwise in nice condition. Great remains of colorful patterns.
