This painting needs to be cleaned. The canvas appears to be lightly skinned at the upper left corner. There is a scuff to the background woman's breast. There is a 4" vertical scratch to the left edge of the canvas, a 1" scuff to the left side in the water and to the left of the foreground woman's head. The canvas sustains a 1" hole at the lower middle and a repaired puncture with overpainting at the lower left. There is also a 2" vertical slit in the canvas at the lower left
