Description

The broadside newspaper page is the last wallpaper printed newspaper from The Daily Citizen in Vicksburg, MS. The print is of the last issued during Confederate control of the city with the addition of a note mentioning the defeat by Union troops. Housed in a gilt frame. 18 inches height, 11.5 inches width sight. 19 inches height, 12.75 inches width frame. Condition very good, only a little loss to text along a fold in the broadsheet. Well preserved by framing.
